What I was thinking when Gatsby told Tom that i had never loved him

When Tom, Jordan, Gatsby, Nick, and I were in town for the day, tension was high because Gatsby wanted me to tell Tom what was happening between us. I did not think that I was quite ready to tell him because I did not want to see my relationships get ruined. When we were in the hotel room, Gatsby and Tom were going at it and then Gatsby told Tom then I had never been in love with him and that I had always been in love with Gatsby. I had mixed emotions when Gatsby told Tom this. On one hand I was angry with him because I did not want Gatsby to tell Tom that and on the other I was kind of relieved that it was out there now and I did not need as much courage to bring up the topic. I showed mostly anger when Gatsby made his outburst. I did not like the fighting between the two of them. Nick and Jordan just stayed out of it and peacefully watched from the side lines. I ran out of the room in rage at Gatsby and Tom for yelling and saying things that may not have been completely true. Yes I love Gatsby and I was always in love with him, but I cannot say that I was never in love with Tom. It may have not been on the same level as my love for Gatsby, but it was still love.
